Formula and method

Wet volume = L x W x T x quantity x (1 + wastage)
Dry volume = wet volume x 1.54
Cement = dry x (cement part / sum of parts) ; 1 bag (50 kg) = 0.0347 mยณ

Frequently asked questions

Which mix for a slab?

M20 (1:1.5:3) is commonly used for residential slabs and beams; M15 for footings and M10 for levelling.

Why 1.54?

Dry materials shrink in volume when mixed with water; 1.54 compensates for it.

Is this calculator free to use?
